Deel and Humaans

How it works

The integration with Humaans and Deel uses secure OAuth authentication to connect your accounts. Once connected, an administrator authorizes Humaans to read and sync employee data from Deel. The integration supports bi-directional syncing: employee profile data flows from Deel to Humaans, while time away entries sync from Humaans to Deel. Configuration is flexible—you can enable or disable specific field mappings, map your Humaans time away types to Deel time off policies, and choose which document types to sync. Real-time webhooks ensure changes are synced automatically as they happen.

Getting started

  • Navigate to Integrations in Humaans, select the Payroll tab, and find Deel. Click "Configure" to begin setup.
  • Click "Connect" and authorize Humaans to access your Deel account via OAuth. A Deel administrator must complete this step.
  • Configure your sync preferences: enable data syncing, map time away types to Deel policies, and set up payslip importing.
  • Use "Sync all users" to perform an initial sync of existing Deel employees, then let automatic syncing handle ongoing changes.

Feature sync

  • Employee data (Deel → Humaans): Work email, personal email, full name, preferred name, mobile number, nationality, birthdate, gender, pronouns, employment dates, job role, compensation, country, address, tax information, bank account details, emergency contacts
  • Time away (Humaans → Deel): Map your Humaans time away types (paid time off, sick leave, parental, etc.) to Deel time off policies
  • Documents (Deel → Humaans): Payslips automatically imported to employee profiles

Settings & features

The integration offers three configuration tabs. 

Data Syncing lets you toggle which employee fields sync from Deel to Humaans—each field can be individually enabled or disabled. 

Time Away Syncing allows you to map your Humaans time away types to corresponding Deel time off policies, supporting vacation, sick leave, parental leave, and 20+ other policy types. 

Documents Syncing configures payslip importing from Deel. The Synced Users tab shows all employees currently linked between systems with their last sync time, and the Logs tab provides an audit trail of all integration activity.
